Summer solstice salutations,
I chose two visitors of the pond to collage for the summer solstice.
The Frog Prayer Circle was initially started as prayers for rain back in October. Rain has been scarce this year, and continues to be; though we did get a surprise inch the first weekend of June.
As the solstice arrives, the frog chorus subsides for the year, with only one lone frog still singing his blues as night falls.
The Golden Fox was inspired by the the fox that came to drink at our pond a few weeks ago. As if on queue for the season, the fox family shows itself to us about the same time each year. We still are enjoying their occasional visits and our luck at seeing them pass through our yard, then disappear into the shadows.
I feel incredibly blessed to live in this beautiful and safe space with these creatures. They elevate my life and sense of wonder at a chance to just be with their Devine Spirits.
